“They steal 50 pieces from Balmain.” Olivier Rousteing, artistic director of the fashion house, laments this Sunday on Instagram about the theft of part of his new collection.
“Today I went to the office at 9 in the morning, to wait for the last pieces for our Balmain show in September. I was starting to create new looks with my team, when our driver called us to tell us that he had been attacked for several people,” writes Olivier Rousteing.
The designer explains that the vehicle came from the airport, without specifying which one, and was heading towards the Balmain headquarters in Paris.
“A lot of people worked hard to make this collection a reality. We are in the process of redoing everything, but it’s really disrespectful,” he still laments.
Fashion designer Jacquemus showed his support in the comments of the message.
After New York Fashion Week, which ended last week, London Fashion Week runs until September 19, Milan Fashion Week takes over from September 19 to 25, and Paris The ban closes from September 25 to October 3, 2023.
