Meghan Markle’s father sends a message to his daughter. After years of estrangement, Thomas Markle spoke on British television this Monday to ask the Duchess of Sussex to let him see her grandchildren.
“I want to see my grandchildren, and I think the king (Charles III) would also want to see them,” he said during a video conference interview for the program. Good morning Great Britain.
“I am heartbroken and also very angry, because it is very cruel to prevent a grandfather from seeing his grandchildren,” added the 79-year-old American.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left their roles within the British monarchy in 2020. A highly publicized conflict has pitted the former actress and her father against each other for years.
