Luc Besson is preparing to return to cinemas, 4 years after his last film Anna. The director attended the Paris premiere of his latest film on Tuesday night man dogone week before the scheduled launch of September 27:
“I am very happy that there is a desire to see it,” the filmmaker confided to BFMTV. “We all worked hard for two years. Especially Caleb Landry Jones, the lead actor, who is incredible.”

To complete the project, dozens of dogs and the participation of 25 trainers were necessary. Before the Paris screening on Tuesday, the film was presented in Orne, Bordeaux, as well as at the prestigious Deauville and Venice festivals.
“I am very stressed before starting a film, (but) now I can’t do anything,” declares the director, a week before the premiere. “I put all my heart, all my head, I did the best I could. I don’t know how to do it better. I hope people like it.”
man dog It marks the filmmaker’s return to theaters after his legal problems. Last June, the Court of Cassation definitively dismissed the rape accusations made by actress Sand Van Roy against Luc Besson, rejecting an appeal filed by her against the dismissal of the case in favor of the director. Luc Besson has always defended himself against these accusations.
