“The road ends there for me”: Amel Bent announces a pause in his television career

Amel Bent, show coach. The voice on TF1 for 4 seasons, announces a pause. The singer plans to dedicate herself to writing a new album, her eighth.

“The road ends there for me, but I will find you on the road, because your love is my compass,” writes the interpreter of ‘My Philosophy’.

And if the message is cryptic, the singer gave more details to the audience of her last concert, at the Zénith in Paris, on Friday, explaining that we would no longer see her on television for some time.

“You won’t see me anywhere.”

“It’s time for me to go back to the studio, to write again, to make songs again and to make a fucking eighth album, the best one,” he said.

“That means there will be a lot of adventures, which I’m used to participating in during the year, that I won’t be able to cope with because I really need to give it my all. So don’t see me on TV, anywhere. I’ll be in the studio. And I’ll be back with an album.”
