Spoilers ahead for episode 2 of the good doctor Season 6 on ABC, titled “Perspective Shift”.
the good doctor continued the sixth season with a much quieter episode after last week’s intense premiere that he filled Grey’s Anatomy with an active shooter in the hospital. Although there were no flying bullets in “Shifting Perspective”, however, conflict was brewing your doctor he tried to accept his paralysis afterwards Shaun made a controversial decision during his emergency operation after being stabbed . While he seemed to be doing everything that could be expected in his circumstances for most of the episode, he ultimately collapsed in the final minutes and his rant suggests fans may soon have to pick a pitch.
In a fantastic interpretation of the actress cristina changLim finally allowed herself to hear everything when a passerby helped her with her wheelchair, then asked her if she was okay. The doctor replied:
No, I’m not fine. I’m so sick of this chair. I’m tired of having to drive with my hands. I’m tired of not being able to move because there are stairs everywhere. And I hate that my body doesn’t do what I want. I hate having to train like an Olympic gymnast just to get out of the fucking bathroom. And I hate Shaun Murphy. It’s all your fault.
Well, it’s good that Dr. Lim has finally allowed himself to feel it all instead of keeping it all in, but there is also no easy fix for everything that has been bothering him. While the spectators who saw the first (which they gathered at the The fifth season finale fills up emergencies with the stinging cliffhanger for Lim) saw that Shaun made what he believed was the best decision to save her life in surgery, left her paralyzed from the waist down, and was the only one who wanted to have this particular operation.

Yes he spared her paralysis, but she knows for a fact that Shaun’s method has forced her to turn her life upside down … even if she’s alive for that alone.
Shaun, Lim and Glassman all have points that could be discussed and a conversation at the beginning of the episode between To be Yes Jordan indicated that the characters may also need to deploy within the good doctor universe. Jordan said Shaun paralyzed Lim because he didn’t follow Glassman’s orders, while Asher claimed he saved his life and there was no way of knowing what would happen if Shaun went the other way.
Asher and Jordan haven’t argued, but the promo for the next episode suggests viewers will have to choose who they agree with between Shaun, Lim and Glassman. To take a look at:
Lim will obviously express his concerns to Shaun and Glassman in the episode airing Oct.17, with Glassman coming out and saying he wouldn’t do what Shaun did as Shaun insisted on saving his life.
