Announcing a full movie list can be a lot of fun, but it’s also hard to deliver on that promise. Countless obstacles are ready to appear, derailing even the best plans. So when Kevin Feige takes the stage in Hall H in San Diego or during D23 in Anaheim reveal dates and titles from wonder movie coming soon you just know that the slightest jolt can overturn the apple cart … and that’s pretty much what happened today.
After the announcement that Marvel Studios were press pause Spade As the studio was looking for a new director, the studio’s parent company, Walt Disney, changed the release dates and created new slots for several highly anticipated blockbusters. All Dead pool 3 a Fantastic Four has been postponed. And now there is a big gap between Avengers: Kang dynasty in 2025 and Avengers: Secret Wars 2026. Here are the main changes:
SPADE (Disney) dated before 3/11/23 moved to 9/24/24
FILM WITHOUT TITLE DEADPOOL (Disney) previously dated 09/06/24 changes to 11/08/24
FANTASTIC FOUR (Disney) previously dated 08/11/24 changes to 02/14/25
UNTITLED WONDER (Disney) previously dated 02/14/25 is moved to 11/25/07
AVENGERS: SECRET WARS (Disney) previously dated 07/11/25 is moved to 01/05/26
UNTITLED WONDER (Disney) of 01/05/26 is removed from the program
So instead of competing to place another movie in the November 2023 slot that was previously occupied SpadeWell, Marvel just decided to release one less movie that year, they already have Ant Man and the Wasp, Guardians of the Galaxy and The Marvels on their agenda and are pretty much changing everything again. This creates a little snag for Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. meeting a Dead pool 3 . Create a big delay for Fantastic Four, a movie that its manager just confirmed but it won’t hit theaters until February 2025. And that puts a whole year in between Avengers: Kang dynasty Yes Avengers: Secret Wars.
It makes more sense. The previous calendar had Tremendous looking to release two Avengers-level movies in one calendar year. And if the stories aren’t related, it can be difficult to fully promote one while dealing with the other. So what can go into untitled slots? We’ve heard a lot about it wars of armornow that turns into a movie , (not a TV show). Additionally, Shang-Chi and Spider-Man are rumored to receive sequels that have not been confirmed.
