He said:
For me, it was very exciting and fun to see this progress from day one. As soon as the first movie came out and then when we started making the episodes and they came out, I love that every time an episode comes out, people jump on their thesis. Documentation increases and this helps or hinders your argument. It’s really inspiring to see how people react to this character.
Weyman explained to the publication that he really likes to see all of these theories and how fans are interested in Tolkien’s lore. You’re right, the fans are extremely involved in Tolkien’s stories and have a deep understanding of what’s going on, which makes the assumptions extremely plausible.
