This article will be full of spoilers for the she-hulk final, so stop reading now if you haven’t seen it yet and still want to stay spoiler-free.
The She-Hulk series on Disney + made good use of the character’s ability to break through the fourth wall and speak directly to the audience, usually about what’s going on in the episode. following a link with Charlie Cox’s Daredevil Tatiana Maslany’s Jen Walters will turn to her audience and ask, “Why is this episode continuing? We only have a satisfying climax! Things like that. Well, the dial is up to 11 on the she-hulk end – accessible to anyone with a Disney + subscription – when, during a routine end-of-level combat sequence, Jen breached the fourth wall and entered the Disney + app screen so that she could reach Marvel Studios headquarters. she-hulk spent most of its season making fun of the tropes that made the Marvel Cinematic Universe such a powerhouse. It started in the pilot, when Jen rejected her newly acquired Hulk powers and preferred live your life as a lawyer . He has found new uses for classic characters like Wong (Benedict Wong) and The Abomination (Tim Roth). And although some B-plots have failed, the return of the daredevil was celebrated and the show earned credit for truly experiencing something new within the confines of the MCU.
That said, She-Hulk hasn’t been entirely without surprises and plot developments for the main characters. In the final scene, at a family barbecue, Jen’s cousin Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) returns from his excursion to Sakaar, who we covered after a previous episode . And the Hulk wasn’t alone. He was with him his son, Skaar.
What? Yes, in the comics, during the Planet Hulk saga, the Hulk had a child with an alien named Caiera. So now we can add the Hulk to the growing list of original Avengers (after Thor and Tony Stark) to add children in stages 3 and 4. And in an episode where Jen Walters mocks the “daddy problems” that plague the MCU.
It was a wild but appropriate way she-hulk (opens in a new tab) to conclude his first season, pulling his hair out of the car which allowed him to become a spectacle as he flows between old and new characters. If the joke at the end is true, we won’t see She-Hulk in a next wonderful movie but given his connection with Matt Murdock and originated in a Disney + series, we may see the character appear in one of the wonder shows announced love you Echo This is Daredevil: Born again in the next future.
