Louise Attaque, who last April celebrated her 25-year career with the release of her first album, reveals this Sunday in the columns of Parisian the release of a new album, Landon November 4.
The album, which will have eleven songs, is announced as more rock. The set was mixed by Chad Blake, an American producer known for his collaborations with the Arctic Monkeys, Pearl Jam and the Black Keys.
“It is a coincidence that he accepted our request. It gave the album a rather rocker and crude color. And it gave us energy,” Gaëtan Roussel explains daily. The first single, Out of the ordinarywill be published on Tuesday.
“This song was immediately a common thread. It brings together the sounds of Louise Attaque and this idea that what is out of the ordinary is dreaming. And at the end, there is an unusual piano moment for us”, warns the singer.
A two-lap tour in 2023
Louise Attaque is planning a tour in 2023. Tickets are on sale from this Saturday. The first concert will take place on March 15 in Strasbourg. Each show will be divided into two parts, announces Gaëtan Roussel:
“First round, the 25th anniversary of our first album, second round more electric, with the new album and surprises. At our age, it’s nice to have little challenges, strong wishes like this!”
Louise Attaque has become rare in recent years. Her last album the anomalyDating back to 2016, it was released after an eight-year hiatus.
The group released their first album in April, which sold 3.3 million copies in 1997, and played it six times on the same day at the Elysée Montmartre in Paris.
