Is it a title, is it an album? Indochina fans have been in an uproar since the group posted two mysterious messages on social media on December 23 and 31, announcing “2024, Indochina is back.”
The two sequences, a succession of images of the group members working in the studio, are accompanied by electronic sounds with a very ’80s sound.

If the group, which today has four members around Nicola Sirkis, oLi dE SaT, Boris Jardel, Marc Éliard and Ludwig Dahlberg, has not given details about the nature of this project, speculation abounds. And fans are considering interpreting these two mysterious messages as the announcement of a new album.
Several clues seem to indicate an album: a list of words on a flipchart that could be a playlist, a mixing board, studio recording sessions, a collection of poems by Paul Eluard, Memory of the asylum…
Indochina’s latest studio album, 13dates back to 2017. The group released a live album in 2023, central towerextracted from the tour of the 40 years of existence of Indochina.
