“We are the ass between two chairs, but we are united.” Guest on the set of TMC’s Quotidien program this Monday to promote his film new toy, the famous actor Jamel Debbouze supported the striking Total employees.
“In the 1970s, or even when I could understand, when I was in Trappes, there was real misery. But I have a feeling that today it is deeper, ”she first stated.
“We believe it is natural to share”
When asked about superprofit taxation, Jamel Debbouze responded that he thought the country was “messy.”
“You feel there are people who are getting rich and you feel there is a lack of consideration,” he said. “When we see the earnings of a company like Total, when we see their earnings displayed, we tell ourselves that it’s natural to share,” said Jamel Debbouze.
“And we all really hate standing in line [dans les stations-service] but we also understand the situation of these employees and are wholeheartedly with them. We are the ass between two chairs, but we are united, ”he says.
A statement welcomed by many rebels on social networks this Monday night. “The government would do better to listen to Jamel Debbouze than to the CEO of Total!” it even launched MEP Manon Aubry.
