Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 3 has a promising start and fun and references to important works of the past such as First contact it won’t stop after the end of this season. We learned about it at San Diego Comic-Con lower covers it will be an acclaimed success strange new worlds but I didn’t know much beyond that. Now, the executive producer of the latest series, Mike McMahan, is opening up about his participation in the crossover, as well as his “unofficial” contribution to the first season of the series. I spoke to Mike McMahan prior to Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 3 premiere and knowing that fans like me are hungry for information, I asked him about his involvement in strange new worlds Go through. What do you think about it?’ And I’m starting to like it, give my opinion.

I like Henry and Akiva. They actually made me download a little bit of the first season, outside of the books. There are some funny jokes that, if they sound a little lower, there’s a chance he made it into Strange New Worlds. And then when I was asked to bring these characters to the show for the crossover, it was a very natural thing because the writers and actors of Strange New Worlds really know how to make it look like Star Trek all the time and they can switch genres. around … Literally, Jonathan Frakes and Tawny [Newsome] They were sending me pictures of the set because my schedule wasn’t working, I couldn’t be there, joking about how much fun they were having because it felt like it was just a love party.
Mike McMahan seems to have gotten a little jealous of not being there, which shouldn’t come as a surprise. It’s surreal to have words written for Uhura or Spock to say, but at the same time there is a part of it. [that] it feels good. Boimler and Mariner are a lot of Starfleet to me, but to be able to see them with these other Starfleet officers who have been at the heart of Star Trek forever, you know, these iconic characters. My characters love these characters. As if that’s exactly how he felt, that’s right. But yeah, it scared me. It was amazing.
It will take some time before we can see Star Trek: Lower Decks Yes strange new worlds Go through. The good news, however, is that there is still a lot of Season 3 of the premiere to enjoy and, with a Deep Space Nine episode yet to come, fans should have no problem being patient with this wild episode that is coming.
