Older brother Season 24 was a season unlike any modern season for a variety of reasons and brought some pretty unexpected events. Notably, Michael Bruner has become one of the most dominant players we’ve seen in some time and has further strengthened his grip on competitions. with his latest victory at the head of the family . More recently, Michael hit another big milestone this week, which could further solidify his claim as one of CBS’s best reality TV series to ever act.
This season is fast becoming Michael’s season as Houseguest just made history last week. 24 News Bulletin was follow the events of Season 24 of Big Brother in live streaming (which can be streamed with a Paramount + subscription ) and can now confirm that Michael has just broken a record of a major game and is only a stone’s throw away from the other.
Michael won his sixth veto contest
That’s right, Michael won his sixth forbidden race, officially breaking the record for only one season of forbidden wins. It is a record that has been shared by alumni of the series such as Danielle Reyes (ex Donato), Janelle Pierzina and Paul Abrahamian. But of course there is now only one title holder, and given how hard Michael has worked to achieve this, I’m not sure he’ll be joined by another one.
Michael’s victory breaks the veto record by sixteen years
The record for veto victories in a single season was set by Janelle Pierzina 16 years ago when Older brother Season 7. Janelle pretty much won this by attending a house party and managed to stay alive until the three finals of the match. Although she has played in other seasons since, she has never won the game. Pierzina could win in a legends season, assuming she wants to participate. Despite this, e Pierzina’s comments on the modern seasons of Bed and breakfast Compared to the classic seasons, Janelle had nothing but love for Michael when she reacted to the news:

Win or lose, it should be an epic brunch. Michael should be proud of this record, especially as there is still time for him to win even more.
Michael also broke the record for the most wins in a single season.
As if the veto record wasn’t enough, Michael also equalized Janelle’s record of total competitive wins in a single season. If he hopes to stay alive in the next double expulsion, he’ll probably have to break that record, which has also been standing for 16 years. It’s hard to bet against Michael at this point given his success so far, but you’d think a single mistake could get him out of the house at this point. Even with all the heat you’ve been through in comparison the controversy with Kyle Capener it’s hard to imagine him losing a vote to all the other Houseguests still in the game. He is in the “away win” phase of the game, which could take those records to an all-time high.
