Chicago Fire Star promises heads will roll in the Halloween episode and why showrunners are excited

Chicago fire enters the spooky season with its next episode of season 11, aptly titled “Haunted House”. This will be the last outing in the long-running drama before Halloween and various members of the Stoplight The team has already explained why fans should wait for it. Star Hanako Greensmith teased that “heads will roll” and showrunners are excited about what happens for One Chicago on Wednesday!

The description of the episode “Haunted House” reveals some fun coming up, with Firehouse 51 hosting a Halloween open house, which should come as a surprise to Boden (who once revealed that Halloween is his favorite holiday). , although it’s safe to say there are a few tricks on the way as well. When Hanako Greensmith spoke with Gossipify and other outlets earlier this fall (including on the relationship between Violet and Hawkins ), was asked about the Halloween episode and shared:

It will be funny ! You will definitely have a Halloween episode this year, and I will say that having participated in one of the incidents, some heads will roll. It’s definitely one of the bloodiest accidents we’ve ever had. It will be a fun thing for you to watch, and who wouldn’t want to see our cast dressed in costumes that aren’t CFDs? I mean, get ready. These costumes are both cute and fun.

Let’s hope heads don’t roll at Firehouse 51 during the open house! Based on Hanako Greensmith’s mention of “accidents”, it seems that the heroes of 51 are expecting an hour of action-packed television. It remains only to see how much Stoplight actually arrives at 9pm ET on NBC! Of course, there will clearly be some slightly increased blood fun, with the characters dressing up for Halloween.

Hopefully, Violet herself joins the celebration, as well as one of the incidents. She has so far had a tough run in season 11, with the unexpected death of Hawkins . A pep talk from Severide that included some comforting reminders helped Violet find the strength to return to work; Maybe some costumed antics could help cheer him up even more!

And the actress was not the only member of the Stoplight the team talks about the Halloween episode. When I spoke to showrunners Andrea Newman and Derek Haas from season 11 a sequel to the season 10 finale Newman called the holiday episode something they were particularly excited for fans to see, saying:

We really want Boden, whose favorite holiday is Halloween, as we highlighted in season one and I don’t think we’ve turned to him since, really explore that favorite holiday in our Halloween episode. We’re doing a Halloween episode this year, which was really cool.

Boden is also coming out of a difficult episode, which made him reflect on his personal life and his relationship with his son. It’s unclear whether or not young Terrance will appear at 51’s Halloween Open House, but considering his father’s love for the holidays, it would definitely be a pleasure to see him again! Whatever happens, “Haunted House” is clearly an episode fans won’t want to miss.

While it’s not all holiday fun from start to finish (with newlyweds Severide and Stella helping a girl out after she’s kicked out of the house), it’s not every week (or even every season) that fighters fire and paramedics at 51 can wear costumes to celebrate. Watch the episode of “The Haunted House” from Chicago fire Wednesday, Oct. 19 at 9 p.m. ET on NBC, between Chicago Mediterranean at 20 and Chicago police at 22:00

Medicinal it is early lose a character (although hopefully without a tragedy like the one that took Hawkins) e PS always adapting I don’t have Halstead around anymore so make sure you spend Wednesday night tuning in to NBC or watch new episodes air the next day with a peacock subscription .
