Warning: spoilers ahead of the fifth episode of FBI: Most Wanted Season 4, titled “Chains”.
FBI: Most Wanted put, lay Hana through the wringer (and vice versa) in “Chains”, after his attempt to help a little girl results in her being kidnapped by really bad people. While the rest of the working group he tried desperately to find help locating it , Hana managed to get over a blow to the head, repeated drugs and chains not only to escape her captors, but also to save a sexually abused 12-year-old girl and boy. Actress Keisha Hughes Castle “Chains” absolutely crushed from start to finish, including the final reveal of Hana which he pardoned late Jess La Croix .
In fact, Keisha Castle-Hughes crushed “Chains” so hard that it was almost difficult to see in light of what her captors who were waiting for her were saying. If they could get away with it, she would have been repeatedly raped in front of the camera and she would never have been saved, along with the youngsters. Ollie he also continues to be sexually assaulted in front of the camera. Luckily, Hana turned out to be a low-tech escape expert, as well as reusing gadgets to escape.
She and Ollie may not be able to recover from their experiences, but the ordeal left Hana wondering how Jess ever helped her and what her advice might do to help the young woman. After spending most of the episode framing a recovery story like her sister did Casey, Hana opened up in a talk about finding ways to heal and using her pain to help others. She told Ollie:
I know it’s a choice you can make, because I made it, Ollie. The story I’m telling you about Casey is not about her. She’s about me. When I was 23, a man badly hurt me and I used my computer to get revenge, but they caught me. Someone stepped in, my friend Jess, and he gave me a choice. He could be accused or working on a case with the FBI. It was nine years ago. Using my pain forever changed everything.
Hana didn’t go into detail about what the man did to her, but she told Ollie that while it wasn’t what she went through with her abusive parents, “it was pretty bad.” While she can’t tell Ollie that the pain never goes away, talking about her about her friend Jess about her giving her a choice of hers clearly helped the young woman.
Jess obviously died in season 3 when FBI: Most Wanted the actor wrote Julien McMahonwho wanted to move somewhere different directions of his career . The most sought after he took his time for let Jess’s former teammates cry before bringing Dylan McDermottthis is Remy Scott as a new leader. “Chains” talked a lot more about Hana going through terrible trauma while she saved herself and two others, but the mention of Jess helped to end the episode on an emotional but hopeful note. Although he is dead, his influence continues to help those he has left behind.
All in all, “Chains” presented Keisha Castle-Hughes in a way that gives me hope for more Hana-centric episodes, but perhaps not instances that put her through personal hell again. she had disappeared The most sought after for a while before returning and claiming her place on the team, where she and Barnes are now the only members left to be on board from the start.
Remy’s relationship with Hana isn’t as old as Barnes’s, but it showed a lot of fire in his desperation to win her back after he united in season 3 . same newcomer ray rifle (juice for Chicago fire alum Edwin Hodge after The most sought after say goodbye to Michele Gomez this is Ivan Ortiz ) was doing everything to find her. Ray is also Hana’s new roommate, so it should be interesting to see if Hana continues to deal with her trauma at her home.
