Unfortunately, many fans would like the franchise to take a different direction.
More than 7,000 people have already signed up to change.org petition urging Universal to resume shooting end of halloween at the time of this article’s publication, surpassing the target of 5,000 signatures. Find out why fans are signing the petition:

The film received mostly negative reviews from critics and a low C + Cinematic Score viewers who captured him on his first weekend. On the other hand, end of halloween doing well at the box office which is already grossing $ 63 million worldwide despite streaming on a Peacock subscription.
As the petition progressed, fans were caught off guard end of halloween focusing on a new character story in Rohan Campbell’s Corey Cunningham . David Gordon Green shared that he made this decision because he wanted to show how Michael Myers influenced not only Laurie, but the town of Haddonfield as well. The petition claims that the film caused a lot of disappointment among fans of the franchise and some wish it could already be remade.
However, not everyone hated end of halloween. Stephen King gave his approval to the film , admitting he’s not reinventing the wheel, but calling it “surprisingly character driven”. Mike Reyes of 24 News Bulletin gave end of halloween a brilliant review giving it 4 out of 5 stars and calling it “the epic conclusion Laurie Strode always deserved”.
Now a petition on Change.org will lead Universal to resume filming end of halloween?Probably not. The fact that someone made the petition and many people signed it and it still shows that there is some disgust with the way end of halloween it’s been managed, but it’s unheard of for a studio to turn around and make a movie like this. Fans can definitely look forward to the next iteration of Halloween be more satisfying. Until then, see what horror movie coming soon then quit.
