In a video uploaded to her Instagram account and broadcast on YouTube, the singer talks about her misfortune.
Lana Del Rey lost everything a few months ago when her car was broken into and left unattended for a few minutes on Melrose Place. Her bag was stolen, containing a computer, hard drives and three video cameras.

Despite this, the thieves were able to access the content of the devices. The hard drives contained songs from an upcoming album, their ninth studio album, after Blue Railings in 2021.
“It’s hard and there’s nothing I can do about it. Because I can’t protect my devices anymore. It’s inevitable that people will access it, unless you leave it so no one has the songs.”
Very moved and somewhat discouraged, the singer explains that she will have to rewrite her book, which was not saved in the cloud. “I loved the book I lost with all my heart and I put a lot of passion into it.” This is her second collection of poetry, after Violet leaning back on the grasspublished in 2020.
In addition to songs, thieves can remotely access your phone and steal personal photos. They also have in their possession precious sequences shot with the family. “I am worried to see what will come out and these two years of family videos”, she delivers.
