Olivia Wilde’s relationship with Harry Styles has been a matter of public concern for nearly two years. Yet their romance has been examined more recently for a variety of reasons. Things got worse last week when Wilde and ex-girlfriend Jason Sudeikis’ ex-nanny gave a lengthy interview in which she sued the actress-director. Among these comments was the accusation that Wilde had given up on her dog in order to spend more time with Styles. Now the kennel where she rescued her puppy is talking about the matter.
The unidentified ex-nanny claimed that Olivia Wilde quickly became exhausted in her relationship with Harry Styles, to the point that she decided to take her dog back to the shelter. The dog, Gordy, was a pet of Wilde and Jason Sudeikis. After hearing the allegations, LA’s MaeDay Rescue responded with a long instagram mail. The nonprofit shelter explained how the smart booking The manager adopted the dog and said there were specific reasons he didn’t mix with the Wilde / Sudeikis family:
Well, you may have seen Gordy on the news recently and we want to set the record straight. Gordy was adopted by @oliviawilde when she was 2 months old and after giving her so much love, training and travel adventures, she realized that Gordy didn’t like the travel life and she wasn’t happy with small children.
These factors apparently led the Hollywood star to make an important decision regarding the dog’s future. As the shelter claims, she eventually decided to find him a new home, and apparently it wasn’t too difficult, as the dog was already quite fond of someone else:
Gordy had a very strong bond with his dog sitter and it was in Gordy’s best interest and after much thought and consideration he was moved to his Brooklyn dog sitter. Before this decision was made, Olivia called Maeday to speak and we were involved in the decision.
The group went on to say that the star is “a huge advocate of animal rescue” and that “he moved Gordy out of compassion and love for him.” Ever since the babysitter’s interview went viral, the two tron the inheritance Alum and Sudeikis have rejected numerous claims. And this latest statement from MaeDay Rescue seems to at least support them when it comes to the allegations involving their dog.
