Fans of the iconic 90s sitcom Friends I’ve been aware of star Matthew Perry’s addiction problems for years. The reporter listed the drugs and alcohol that Matthew Perry said he was taking at the time (Methadone, Xanax, a liter of vodka a day and 55 Vicodin a day), so it’s no surprise that he was probably trying to hide everything from his five stage companions.
It must have been a rough time for everyone involved when things got to the point where the actress felt the need to get close to him. Jennifer Aniston also appears to have spoken to him on several occasions, which she Perry said she appreciated:

Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe Buffay, said they had no idea she was in such an uproar, and Jennifer Aniston in a subsequent interview echoed those feelings, saying:
I didn’t understand the level of anxiety and self-torture Matthew Perry felt if he didn’t laugh, and the devastation he felt. Which is perfectly logical.
