Spoilers for She-Hulk: Lawyer Season 1 Finale, “Whose Show Is This?”, Are below, so read on at your own risk.
Another Marvel Studios TV show has come and gone, like She-Hulk: lawyer It ended its run almost two weeks ago. The first legitimate Marvel Cinematic Universe sitcom is really dear to the public, and as a result, many are wondering if a second season is in the cards. Of course, the Disney-owned mega-corporation is silent about what may or may not happen in the future. Meanwhile, Jessica Gao, the show’s lead writer and executive producer, talked about her thoughts on a possible second season right now.
Jessica Gao had a big task ahead of her when she was cast to handle Jennifer Walters’ debut in the MCU. She not only had to introduce a new character to the cinematic universe, but she also had to create a unique story and atmosphere among other productions in the vast superhero franchise. Based on critically acclaimed she-hulk Has received , you could say it was mostly successful. You would think Gao would be eager to return for a second season. However, the comments he recently shared with Gossipify seem to indicate that for now he has only focused on the present:
What I hear about all of this right now is how my friends with children have described having their first child, which is that you have your first child and then everyone starts asking, “When do you have the second?” And everyone says, “I literally just gave birth and I’m still recovering in the delivery room, and that’s all I can think of right now.” And that’s how I feel.
The manufacturer presents an interesting analogy here. Anyone who has had at least one child has certainly received this type of question many times. And while creating a TV show isn’t the same as giving the world new life, both processes involve a kind of “recovery” phase. In short, the Marvel EP needs a break and just wants to enjoy the moment after sharing its hit legal comedy with the world. And honestly, I don’t blame her at all.
As fans speculate on what could happen to the series, she-hulk the end of madness there are still people talking. The ultra-meta episode saw Fourth Wall Breaker Jennifer Walters head to the Marvel Studios offices to face off against KEVIN (a idea approved by studio head Kevin Feige de) at the end of the season. In its final moments, the episode also introduced the character of Skaar, the son of the Hulk. Things have been resolved relatively solidly, although there is still a lot to do with the superhero / lawyer.
She-Hulk: lawyer it’s just from various Marvel shows whose future is in the air right now. Mrs. Wonder which has received mostly positive reviews , has also been the focus of massive fan speculation about the upcoming seasons. The same goes for Oscar Isaac knight of the moon and even Isaac recently indicated that season 2 is about are in the works, Marvel has not yet formally confirmed anything.
Although many MCU shows have been designated as limited series, Jennifer Walters’ standalone show certainly has the potential to last a while. Can’t wait to see how things turn out for this particular property. Hopefully, if she gets the green light for season 2, Jessica Gao and her team will have enough time to catch up and create something new.
