The blockbuster of the summer, signed Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de la Patellière, the director duo of First nameIt is inspired by the famous novel by Alexandre Dumas. Pierre Niney plays the main role.
Victim of a conspiracy, Edmond Dantès is arrested for a crime he did not commit. Imprisoned for 14 years in the prisons of the Château d’If, he managed to escape. After becoming immensely rich thanks to Abbot Faria’s secret, he returns under the identity of the Count of Monte Cristo to take revenge on the three men who betrayed him.

Filming took place last year between July and November. Its original release was scheduled for December 11, 2024. The Count of Monte Cristo will finally hit theaters on June 28.
