Comeback of Israel, France 5th with Slimane, Croatia big favorite… What do the bettors predict, one day before the grand final in Malmö?

Final stretch for the Eurovision 2024 candidates. At the end of the second semi-final, on Thursday, May 9, the 37 candidates of this 68th edition are now only 26. They will all perform this Saturday, May 11 on the stage of the grand final in Malmö , the Swedish city that hosts the competition this year. And like every edition, bettors have their favorites.

The bookmaker rankings have gone into a panic in the last 24 hours and the two semi-finals have changed some cards. The most surprising development: the comeback of Israel, which just a week ago was at the bottom of the Top 10 and is now in second place. A surprise like this candidacy, represented by the singer Eden Golan and her title HurricaneIt is controversial due to the war between the Jewish State and Hamas.

how to vote

Citizens of the 37 countries participating in this 68th edition of Eurovision will be able to participate in the voting, which will open shortly before the first performance of the final and will close between 25 and 40 minutes after the last one. Fans will be able to vote through the official Eurovision app, or by SMS or by phone using a number that will be displayed on the screen.

Since last year, non-participating countries can also vote. Their votes are grouped into the same category, “The rest of the world,” which has the weight of an additional country.
