The popularity of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is a powerful force in the entertainment industry, but it also comes with unique complications, such as popular fan theories. Paul Rudd knows this all too well, as fans have long joked that Ant-Man can kill enemies by shrinking, fitting into a hole, and then growing in size. Paul Rudd recently spoke with Eastern time about this viral and really crazy idea, responding with:
I know what you’re talking about, a way to kill Thanos. And that some consider it a missed opportunity. Well, I guess you’ll just have to look at the next one. I don’t know if you can take Kang out like that, Kang is pretty tough and I have to assume all parts of him are strong.
Well now you have it. While making sure you keep the secrets of ant man 3, the beloved actor / comedian mocked the idea of his Avenger sending bad guys up his butt. But smart money says we shouldn’t hold our breath (lol) hoping to see it on the big screen.
Paul Rudd’s comments to ET come as he attended his ninth All-Star Bowling Benefit for SAY: The Stuttering Association for the Young. During the interviews, the conversation eventually shifted to her current role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as is often the case. Interestingly, Thanos’ ass theory ended up being addressed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe … sort of. In a video on Disney Wish’s World of Marvel restaurant, Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang shows up next to Hope and mentions this funny ongoing entry. But that didn’t stop the actor’s online talk and questions.
As you can see above, the first one trailer for Ant-Man and the Vespa: Quantumania It was recently released online and made Marvel fans go crazy. It looks like Peyton Reed’s third installment will be a bold departure from the two previous films, with the main cast entering the title’s alternate dimension. The film will also star Jonathan Majors Kang the Conqueror , who should be the next big villain of the MCU in general. Whether Scott Lang will try to beat him on football remains to be seen.
