Jalil Lespert will be directing this film. The director, to whom we owe the biographical film about Saint-Laurent with Pierre Niney, was a colleague of Laeticia Hallyday. Belgian actor Matthias Schoenaerts will play the rocker. The rest of the cast has not yet been revealed.
More than a film about Johnny, this biopic does not focus on telling the love story between Johnny and Laeticia. The story begins in 1995, when Johnny and Laeticia met in Miami. Very quickly, he told her: “I want us to grow old together.”
Far from the official image and glossy photographs, the film evokes the couple’s demons. Laeticia is anorexic, Johnny is broke and plagued by alcohol and cocaine problems. In one scene, Laeticia throws Johnny’s bags of cocaine into the sea.

But also a certain Nicolas Sarkozy who married him or Jacques Chirac who helped him in his problems with the tax authorities.
