After eight years of waiting, the sequel to moana is coming to the big screen. Disney put online this Wednesday, May 29, the first trailer for this new film that will premiere in French theaters on November 27.
“After receiving an unexpected call from her ancestors, Moana embarks on a journey that will take her to the dangerous waters of the far reaches of the ocean seas to live an adventure like never before,” says the official synopsis.
moana 2 was developed as a series. It was during its production that Disney decided to finally produce a feature film. Dwayne Johnsonwho voiced the demigod Maui in the original version, returns in this film.

First moana will be the subject of a live-action remake. Dwayne Johnson will also play the demigod Maui. “We are only in the early stages of the project and there is still a lot of work to do,” he said in April 2023.
