Death of Betty Anne Rees, actress seen in the series “Mannix” and “The Incredible Hulk”

Betty Anne Rees, who appeared in several cult films and series of the 1970s, died last week at the age of 81.

American actress Betty Anne Rees, known for playing strong women in action comedy. The ungodly rollers and the zombie movie sugar hill, two B movies from the ’70s, are dead, the Hollywood Reporter reports. She was 81 years old.

Betty Anne Rees died last Monday at her home in California after a series of falls and a heart attack, her niece Kathleen Loucks told the Hollywood Reporter. She also suffered from multiple sclerosis since the 1990s.

Born Elizabeth Anne Rees in 1943 in Ohio, she began her career in the 1960s, playing notably in General Hospitalwhich has since become the longest-running soap opera on American television.
