Game shows are the gifts they keep giving when it comes to contestants giving stupid answers. And while Danger! bugs may be rarer than atrocious turns of Wheel of fortune or assumptions made by Steve Harvey scream family conflict , the classic question and answer program had its share of surprises. In a recent episode, Danger! Contestant Jack Weller gave a response that surprised host Ken Jennings so much that he broke his professional demeanor to mock the contestant.
Jack Weller attended Danger! Second chance tournament on October 25th, where the category “Plurals that do not end with S” was chosen. The track was “Moose” and Weller hummed a classic bad instant response. Take a look at the moment below:
After the player replies “What is Meese?” Ken Jennings couldn’t help but laugh when he said “No”, then, before continuing, he repeated louder: “No, Jack!” It certainly wasn’t the response the host was hoping for, especially during the Second Chance Tournament, whose contestants have been chosen from previous encounters to return for another shot after the first impressive performances. I guess even former players are not immune to the pressures of Danger!
But as ridiculous as it may seem that someone inside Danger! I would think of pluralizing “moose” as “goose”, and despite Ken Jennings’ shocked reaction, fans of the show on Twitter seem to have found the answer extremely well-suited.

Jack Weller won the match and will then play again in the final of the second chance, with the winner securing a place in the Tournament of Champions. Whatever the game (or it’s a sport ?) applies to Weller, however, his place Danger! Lore is probably safe, as this viewer pointed out:

This competitor is far from the first and will not be the last to have fun Danger! audience with a ridiculous response. Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik also talked about it do stupid things as conductors of the show. And when Jennings, one of the Danger! The biggest winners of all time – he doesn’t mispronounce his name, we know make a joke or two of dad some so bad apologize after the show .
