Captain America: New World Order, the fourth installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise, is constantly taking shape and joining its cast. And last month, it was reported that the film got a big star in the form of Harrison Ford. The Hollywood icon is set to plays the role of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross , replacing the late William Hurt. Since the news broke, Marvel Studios have been silent on the redesign until now. Producer Nate Moore broke his silence on Ford’s inclusion and teased what viewers can expect from his MCU debut.
Nate Moore has been with Marvel Studios for a while and has helped bring a number of new players to the company’s huge superhero universe. This includes stars like actor Sam Wilson Anthony Mackie (whose character is now Captain America) and the entire cast of eternal. Moore, who recently produced Black Panther: Wakanda foreverWill reach comicbook.com to talk about all things MCU. During the conversation, he was asked about Harrison Ford and if he was his Could Ross turn into the Red Hulk? . Moore remained diplomatic on that front, but went crazy with the 80-year-old icon New world order:
I mean, I think you’ll have to wait and see. You know what I mean ? But Harrison Ford, we couldn’t be more excited. Obviously, when Han Solo or Indiana Jones are involved in your movie, the game gets better. So we are happy to see [Anthony] Mackie and Harrison Ford in scenes together. I think it will be great.
Personally, I still can’t believe it Indiana Jones star actually signed, for several films than that. in addition to the fourth Postal Code delivery, it is rumored that the actor will also appear in the upcoming superhero team movie Ray. Despite aging, the beloved artist shows no signs of slowing down as his work demonstrates indiana jones 5which will be released next summer.
Marvel rumors initially linked Harrison Ford to the role of Franklin Richards in Fantastic Four start over. While that would have been a solid role for him too, it really fits the Thunderbolt Ross mold. He can bring his natural seriousness to the role as well as the stern demeanor that has been the hallmark of the general-turned-politician since his MCU debut in 2008. Ford will surely give Ross his portrayal, just like Don Cheadle did. . .with Giacomo. Rhodes when he succeeded Terrence Howard in the role.
based on what we know Captain America: New World Order the Rewards for hunting the alum will be surrounded by an A + cast. In addition to Anthony Mackie, he is also present in the film Falcon and the Winter Soldier students Danny Ramírez (Joaquín Torres) and Carl Lumbly (Isiah Bradley). The production will also include franchise newcomer Shira Haas, who plays Sabra. Not only that, but the superhero movie will also mark the long-awaited back from The Incredible Hulk by Tim Blake Nelson who will reprise the role of Samuel Sterns / The Leader.
It’s exciting to think about what Nate Moore, co-producer Kevin Feige and their team have planned for Cap’s fourth movie, especially now that we know Harrison Ford will play Ross. There is certainly still a lot to do with the character moving forward, which means that he at least has a chance of becoming the Red Hulk. Like Moore, though, I can’t wait to see Ford (in person) cut it to the screen with his co-stars.
Captain America: New World Order will be released in theaters on May 3, 2024 as part of phase 5 of the MCU Yes Ray it will close the stage in the same year when it falls on July 26th.
