The Star Academy releases the clip of its anthem “Don’t go without me”

Cover of the famous Celine Dion hit released in 1987, this title was produced by DJ Quentin Mosimann and performed by the 13 students of this class of 2022.

Star Academy’s new anthem gets a clip. Produced by Season 7 winner DJ Quentin Mosimann, this revival by the Class of 2022 Title Contenders don’t go without me by Celine Dion is available from Thursday night on YouTube, three weeks after the start of the competition.

During the daily premieres of telecrochet, broadcast from Monday to Saturday at 5:30 p.m. on TF1, viewers were able to see the shooting of this clip, which began a few hours after the arrival of the candidates for the castle of Dammarie-lès-Lys.

Initially published only on streaming platforms, this anthem was performed by the 13 students of this tenth season on the occasion of the second extra of the program broadcast on Saturday, October 22.

As tradition dictates, each season of star academy had the right to its anthem, sung by all the students in competition at the beginning of each prime time: Music, let me dance, I am not a hero

For this 2022 edition, it was Quentin Mosimann himself who came, the day after the program’s first bonus, to announce to the candidates the title of the anthem they were going to sing this year.

“It is a pleasure that the production thought of me. Finding the right song was a long road. (…) It was a real challenge because we don’t remember the anthem of all the ‘Stars Ac’”, the artist confided to the Swiss media The morning.

cult song of celine dion released in 1987, don’t go without me allowed the Canadian artist to win the Eurovision Song Contest for Switzerland the following year. It was written by Swiss singer Nella Martinetti and composed by Turkish-Swiss Atilla Şereftuğ.
