Actor Dylan Robert returns to court. The trial of the 24-year-old actor in a car theft case will take place this Friday, November 25, in Marseille. But crime caught up with him last March when the Marseille criminal court sentenced him to four years in prison, three of them for a series of necklace thefts committed five years earlier.
“On the one hand, I was experiencing extraordinary things,” he explained in court, referring to the growth of his acting career.
But, on the other hand, in his Marseille neighborhood he once again fell into “a spiral” of crime. “I needed money” and “the Cannes festival is not paid for,” he told the president of the court.

Between April and July 2019, he committed a series of thefts, of which the investigating judge detained fifteen. With one of their friends, now a fugitive, sentenced in absentia to five years in prison, they always proceeded in the same way: approach on a scooter, snatch a piece of jewelry, with violence if necessary, and flee.

The courts sometimes charged him with several robberies a day. He assured him that all the robberies were not attributable to him. He was also acquitted of four of them.
Another case of murder and attempted murder
Dylan Robert is also accused of murder and attempted murder in a gang organized in the investigation into the murder of a teenager at a point of sale in August 2021 in Marseille. Investigators suspect him of having driven the scooter carrying the person responsible for the death of a teenager, in August 2021. Rayanne, 14, was murdered in front of the town of Marroniers, in the 14th arrondissement of Marseille.

According to Dylan Robert’s lawyer, Valérie Coriatt, these prosecutions for murder and attempted murder are “a judicial embarrassment in terms of evidence.”
