American producer Metro Boomin accused of rape and sexual assault

The producer who collaborated with many famous rappers such as Future, Travis Scott and 21 Savage is the subject of a rape and sexual assault complaint for events dating back to 2016.

After P.Diddy, the American producer Metro Boomin, who has collaborated with many famous rappers such as Future, Travis Scott, Young Thug or 21 Savage, is in turn the subject of a complaint for rape and sexual assault.

According to Variety, the plaintiff, Vanessa LeMaistre, filed a complaint with the Los Angeles court on Tuesday. She accuses the artist of raping her after meeting him at a recording studio in California around September 2016.

A state of semi-consciousness

In her complaint, Vanessa LeMaistre explains that as soon as she arrived at the studio they served her a glass of alcohol. She also allegedly took a pill of Xanax, an antidepressant she had been prescribed following the death of her 9-month-old son a few months earlier.

Sitting on a sofa to listen to Metro Boomin make music, the complainant claims to have lost consciousness and that when she woke up, she was in a bed, located in another place, being raped by the producer.

According to the complaint, the young woman was in a state of semi-consciousness at the time of the events and fainted as soon as she regained consciousness, while Metro Boomin continued to rape her.

“At no time during this meeting was Ms. LeMaistre able to consent to any sexual activity, and Wayne’s behavior certainly constitutes rape and sexual assault,” the plaintiff’s attorneys state in the complaint.

Several weeks after this incident, Vanessa LeMaistre indicates that she found out she was pregnant. She claims to have had no other sexual relations during this period and, therefore, this pregnancy would, according to her, be a consequence of the rape she suffered.

“Pure scam”

According to Vanessa LeMaistre, Metro Boomin even mentioned his assault in his caption rap saved mein collaboration with rappers 21 Savage, Offset and Quavo.

The artists rap the following lyrics: “She took a Xanny, then she passed out. I come from the gutter, I can’t change. From the gutter, rap saved me. She drives me crazy, make me a baby.”

On behalf of Metro Boomin, his lawyer Lawrence Hinkle called this complaint “pure fraud” and assured the Washington Post that the producer “will file a complaint for malicious prosecution once he has won” this lawsuit.
