Canadian actor Julien Arnold died suddenly last Sunday during a performance of the Christmas classic A Christmas story (A Christmas Story) at the Citadel Theater in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the establishment reported on social media. He was 60 years old.
Although the cause of his death has not been revealed, CBC News reports that Julien Arnold died at the scene despite “several attempts to resuscitate him” by emergency services, an Alberta Health Service spokesperson said.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Julien Arnold, an actor beloved by all and a dear friend of the Citadel Theatre,” the theater said in a statement posted on Instagram.
