The Poison The franchise has served many masters since Sony gave birth to its symbiote in the 2018 movie Origin. Luckily, I got a chance to talk to Andy Serkis through his three-episode star arc from the Star Wars series. Andor (see with a Disney + subscription ). And when our conversation ended, I immediately asked him why he hadn’t returned poison 3and if he even considered accepting the gig before the studio finally went with screenwriter Kelly Marcel. But Serkis explained to Gossipify:
I enjoyed working with them[Venom : Let There Be Carnage]but I have so many projects in development that I have set aside to direct Venom. So with Animal Farm on the way and a host of other projects I’ve been working on for so long, spending a few more years (on Venom 3), this would have been a great question. But I mean, I’m so excited that he does this because he knows this world so well now, of course. And I think with her and Tom working together, I’m really excited to see what they will do.
Kelly Marcel had an interesting journey, co-writing Save Mr. Banks for Tom Hanks and Disney, but also towards Fifty Shades of Gray for Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan. This means it is versatile!
