Heart disease, Alzheimer’s, Hantavirus … The causes of the death of Gene Hackman and his wife revealed by the authorities

The 95 -year -old actor and classic pianist Betsy Arakawa, 63, found himself lifeless on February 26 in Santa Fe, with the body of one of his dogs. More than ten days after the discovery of their bodies, the authorities revealed that the couple died of natural causes.

The authorities raised the veil this Friday, March 7, about the causes of the death of the Hackman couple, whose lifeless bodies were found on February 26 at their home in Santa Fe, in New Mexico.

The 95 -year -old actor died of a “heart disease,” probably on February 18, the day his pacemaker stopped issuing. Gene Hackman also suffered an advanced stage of Alzheimer’s disease. “He had very bad health,” said American state -American doctor, Heather Jarrell.

His wife, Betsy Arakawa, 65, was found with a bottle of open medications and pills scattered on the counter in the bathroom. After the autopsy, the authorities managed to determine that she had succumbed to the pulmonary syndrome of the Hantavirus, a disease transmitted by the excrement of infected rodents.

“It is very possible that she did not know that she had died”

According to Heather Jarrell, it is “likely” that he is dead on February 11, a week before her husband. He was last seen on this date, when he went to the pharmacy and an animal store. On February 11, it also corresponds to the day when your phone and electronic communications have ceased.

“Given the circumstances, it is reasonable to conclude that Mrs. Arakawa died the first,” said Heather Jarrell.

Therefore, the Oscar winning actor would have stayed at home after the death of his wife. “It is very possible that she did not know that she had died,” added Heather Jarrell.

The American film giant Gene Hackman and his wife were found lifeless, with the body of one of his dogs. The authorities, who had not found any trace of a criminal act, considered the “sufficiently suspicious” death to launch an in -depth investigation. The latter is still open until all gray areas are raised, including the causes of the couple’s death.
