Six years a day after the cathedral fire, Vianney launched on Tuesday, April 15 on transmission platforms, the study version of its French recovery Hiler by Leonard Cohen, whom he played last December during the Notre-Dame reopening ceremony of Paris.
“Thanks to the supporters of Léonard Cohen for having exceptionally allowed this,” the singer wrote on his Instagram account revealing the cover of the single, a notre-game drawing signed by his hand.
French words of his recovery had been divided. “For those who ask, this text I wrote is not a translation of the song by Léonard Cohen, but a free French version, inspired at this time,” he said on Instagram.
“Thank you for understanding my intentions”
In his private channel, on Instagram, Vianney had added that he had received very positive messages: “(reactions) come from all over the world, from people’s believers or not at all, and even tell me the possibility that I had to have lived this moment.”
“Thank you for sharing your emotions, which are mixed with mine. Thank you for understanding my intentions, for your benevolence,” the 34 -year -old singer had completed, who has just celebrated his 10 -year career.
The artist participated in January in the concerts of Bastard In southern France Arena, near Montpellier. This concert, broadcast in March, was a rare opportunity to see it on stage, Vianney, after making the decision three years ago, not to go up.
