An investigation was opened this weekend in Hamburg, Germany, after the death of novelist Alexandra Fröhlich. This successful author was found murdered this Thursday, April 24 at the barge where he lived, reports The Guardian.
According to the first elements of the investigation, Alexandra Fröhlich, 58, was the victim of a violent attack in her home. The authorities have not given more details, except that the Forensic Doctor had submitted his autopsy report.
“After analyzing the evidence, the authorities believe that this woman died violently,” said a press release from the Hamburg Police. “The research is experiencing its course and you can’t give other information.”
The author’s body was found by his son in his barge, which is installed along the Elba in Hamburg. Police believe they were killed between midnight and 5 am, the police launched an appeal for witnesses.
