British actor Russell Brand was fired before a criminal court for the accusation of sexual violation and aggression and released on bail, after a brief hearing on Friday before a London court.
The 49 -year -old humorist who became an influential conspirator, only spoke to reject his identity, his birth date and his address before the Westminster Court.
Then he heard, impassive, the declaration of the positions sustained against him.
The ex -husband of the pop star Katy Perry was accused in early April for two rapes and several sexual assaults, of four women in total, in the coastal region of Bournemouth (southern England) and London, between 1999 and 2005.
It was on bail, a regime that includes certain conditions to respect, waiting for its next appearance on May 30 before the Old Bailey court, responsible for judging crimes.

“A drug addict, a sex addict”
In a video posted on social networks just after his accusation, Brand, who lives part of his time in the United States, had rejected the accusations and said he was “recognizing” having “the opportunity to defend himself.
“He was an idiot before living in the light of the Lord. He was a drug addict, a sex addict and a fool, but I was never a rapist,” he said, ensuring that “he was never involved in an (relationship) not consented.”
A police investigation had been opened against him after the transmission of a documentary about the British Channel Channel 4 in September 2023.
London police said the investigation was still open and called “anyone interested or has information about this case” to contact them.
Born in 1975 in a family of modest origin in Essex, in eastern London, Russell Brand began his career at the stand-up in adolescence.
