The day after the 69th edition of Eurovision, this Saturday, May 17, which was held by the seventh place in the competition, the 28 -year -old singer spoke in a publication broadcast on social networks, Sunday afternoon.
“An incredible experience”
In a long message with about twenty photos of memories, he thanked Eurovision, fans, the French delegation for having “such a lucky woman.”
“I just want to say that never, never in my life I have dreamed of living such an incredible experience. I changed a lot, I grew up a lot (…) Thank you all for your support. I love you very much.”
“I am very proud of you. You are a star”
With Austria and his singer JJ in the first place, the podium was in second place by Israel, then in third position by Estonia. Louane, who only got 50 points of the public, arrives far behind. However, the singer was retained by the favorite.
With his technical performance and his title “Maman”, she was prescribed thirdly by the betting corridors. He also joked with a photomontage, mocking his face when the results were announced.
In the images of the night, we see, in fact, the French delegation breaks down when the results were announced. After the competition, the singer, visibly disappointed, refused to fulfill the questions of the journalists, as the custom wishes.
He returned directly to the hotel, with his relatives, especially his sister and his fiance. “We need (…) be among us,” said the spokesman for the French delegation, Ludovic Huel.

I am very proud of you. You deserve it so much, so much, so much. I would love you forever. You are a star “
A song in tribute to his mother
It should be said that the singer also brought a personal problem: co -written as a story of her life, “Mom” paid a moving tribute to her mother who died of cancer in 2014.
During the announcement message that revealed his participation in the competition a few months ago, he also addressed her, saying that her mother dreamed of seeing her participate in Eurovision. She entrusted to the Parisians the words of her mother: “He repeated me thousands of times: ‘One day, you will make Eurovision'”
Early in the day, the head of the French delegation, Alexandre Redde-Amiel, also reacted in a press release: “Eurovision is a whirlwind, a mechanics sometimes unpredictable and surprising. Even if we are disappointed, nothing will withdraw the pride of this immense work with an immense artist.”
France already won the Eurovision competition five times, but his last victory dates back to 1977 with “The Bird and the Child” by Marie Myriam.
