In his complaint, Devyn Labella states that the rules of the SAG-AFTRA film protocol related to intimate scenes, as well as those stipulated by their contract, were not respected: announces 48 hours in advance for the filming of an intimate scene, the collection of the advisors of the mandatory actors, the presence of an intimacy coordinator, the reduced team.
For this last point, she reports that “the scene was publicly transmitted on the screens (of the plateau) and that the whole team could attend.” Devyn Labella ensures that these rules had been respected by the filming of the rape scene of the previous day, provided by her Hunt.
“I found myself in a situation of vulnerability, without protection and deeply betrayed by a system that promised security and professionalism,” he writes. “What happened to me broke my confidence and forever modified the way I evolved in this industry.” She declares that therapy had begun in June 2023.
Kevin Costner defends himself
Even so, according to the complaint, Kevin Costner did not say the rigor of “action” and “cut”, which did not allow Devyn Labella to take the measure of what was happening. She adds that Roger Ivens, the actor, never removed his body’s hands, and that the costume department had not prepared him so that his underwear was exposed as they were.
Kevin Costner refutes the accusations and ensures that “he always wants to make sure that everyone feels comfortable working in their films”, in a statement transmitted to the deadline of his lawyer, Marty Singer.
“(Kevin Costner) takes the security of the set very seriously,” said his advice, ensuring that the accusations of Devyn Labella “have no base, and that they completely contradict their own actions, as well as the facts.”
