The Final Head Metal Concert Ozzy Ozzy Osbourne Singer with its Black Sabbath group scheduled for July 5 in Birmingham, whose tickets were snatched in 16 minutes, will be broadcast online, the group announced this Friday, June 6.
In order to attend the event, the places were placed online this Friday at a price of 24.99 pounds, or around 30 euros. However, the broadcast of the online show will be carried out with two hours of compensation.
“We have received a massive request from fans around the world who could not have space. They rushed to social networks, begging us to transmit the live concert. As is a historical event, we could not withdraw them,” said Sharon Osbourne, wife of the singer, quoted in the group’s press release.
Integrality of gains donated to associations
This concert called “Back to the Beginning” will be the first concert of the group in twenty years, and the last one for Ozzy Osbourne. The artist, who revealed in 2020 to suffer from Parkinson’s disease, will find Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward for a last show in the city of the center of England, where the group was founded in 1968.
Scheduled at Aston Villa Football Stadium, the event will also bring together the Metallica, Guns N’rose, Tool and Slayer groups. All concert earnings will be donated to several associations, including Cure Parkinson and Birmingham’s Children’s Hospital.
A true genre legend, Black Sabbath has sold more than 75 million albums worldwide and is considered one of the heavy metal pioneers. For Ozzy Osbourne, this concert will mark the end of his scenic career, he confirmed his wife to the BBC: “This is its end point,” he said.
