Change of program for Jonas Brothers. The boys band, which will begin a tour in North America this summer to celebrate its twentieth race, has just announced some logistics modifications. Six concerts initially planned in stadiums will finally take place in smaller rooms. The reasons were not communicated.
“We are making some modifications, but they are sure that all services will take place, on the same dates and in the same cities!” They wrote on Friday, June 13 in a statement transmitted by Entertainment Weekly.
The interested cities are Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Detroit, Dallas, Washington and Chicago. The new rooms chosen presents a drastic reduction in the number of places: in Los Angeles, the concert initially planned in the Dodger Stadium will finally take place at the Inuit Dome, thus going from a stadium with a capacity of 56,000 people to a room of 18,300 places. The Washington, on August 12, will take place at the Jiffy Lube Live instead of the Stade Nationals Park, going from a maximum caliber of 41,000 people to 25,000.
Spare tickets
According to Variety, the holders of a ticket for canceled concerts will obtain a refund and have the priority when replacement concert tickets are on sale next week. The US media points out that other concerts planned in stadiums have been maintained, among the forty shows of this tour.
