The qualifying round of the America has talent is when artists who pass auditions have to do everything they can if they want to make it to the finals, and the competition was tough in season 17. Polish dancer Kristy Sellars is back after winning over Simon Cowell during his audition , and this time it definitely got bigger and bolder. He not only introduced him to a second stick, but he also did a new trick that he had never done before. America has talentLive broadcasts from.
Kristy Sellars combines pole dancing with the art of throwing not only to show off her incredible athleticism and pole vault stunts, but also to play out a story using throwing. She wowed the judges the first time and her return earned her a standing ovation throughout the theater. Heidi Klum also asked how she could practice at home, sharing that she uses a “very low budget projector”. Klum said she was “amazing” and I doubt anyone would dispute that!
When Sellars spoke to Gossipify after his performance, I asked him how much time he really had to rehearse at AG plot, as his home training is nowhere near the same scale. She shared how she tried something completely new without so much time to practice on the huge stage of the show:
Today was actually the first performance I did with the floor projection. I had never done this before and it was new to me, but I wanted to try to go further. I only did three rehearsals on stage, so it was new. And I was trying to make it really work and figure out where the splatter would start from. But more [time] for shows and auditions. We go in here and there is a small rehearsal space in the back. But usually on stage you get three tours with the camera.
In her first performance, Kristy Sellars used a pole and kept her performance straight, which was easy enough to win over a reluctant Simon Cowell. For qualifying, she added a ground reflector to bring the action closer to the audience for a more three-dimensional viewing experience, as did the second post. He may have spent more time in the air than on the ground, but the story he was telling became even more complex and compelling.
She also has the right to brag as the only pole dancer to make it to qualifying, with Simon Cowell even saying she could be “the one that will surprise us all at the end of this year”. Sellars is almost guaranteed to stand out as one of the most memorable performers of season 17, whether or not she’s destined for the $ 1 million show and in Las Vegas. Check it out by doubling her number of poles and using a ground projection:
Be sure to tune into NBC on Wednesday, September 7 at 8pm ET to find out who AG the trips are over and what two lucky ones will do. It seems like a safe bet that Mayyas will move forward. after winning the Golden Horn from Sofia Vergara with her audition and enthusiastic praise from the judges after her final performance. That said, two of the six Golden Buzzer winners didn’t make it to the final, with the young singer Madison Baez between the first qualifying cut, then singer Lily Meola last week. (Heidi Klum previously open about his disagreement with Simon Cowell about Meola .)
Kristy Sellars faced stiff competition on September 6, including wild card winner Jordan Conley, who has since explained all the Disney references in his comedy set . She also faced rap magician Mervant Vera, who he had to clear things up after Simon Cowell made some comments on your nerves.
The latest news from season 17 of America has talent will take place live Tuesday, September 13 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. If you are left behind and want to catch up before the end, you can do it with a peacock subscription .
