The boys It concluded its wild third season on Amazon Prime in July, but now the show is making headlines for some creepy reasons. Actress Erin Moriarty recently revealed the toxicity he suffered from the trolls due to her role as Starlight, and detailed how she feels “silent”, “dehumanized” and “paralyzed” by comments. However, her co-stars wasted no time in showing their support, and now creator and showrunner Eric Kripke has dropped F-bombs in the actress’s defense.
Given that all three seasons of this show so far have dealt with Starlight’s misogyny and abuse issues, it’s no surprise that Eric Kripke has a lot to say to anyone who claims to be a “fan” of Starlight. Jordana Lajoie, who reappeared The boys as Cherie, she shared a heart emoji in response to Kripke’s post, and Hilarie Burton Morgan (whose husband Jeffrey Dean Morgan joined The boys for season 4 ) had no less than seven cheering emojis to share.

While it is horrifying that Erin Moriarty has dealt with trolls who made her feel “dehumanized,” we can only hope that the support of those who work with her will help. The vast majority of people who commented on Kripke’s post praised Moriarty as the Starlight or the showrunner for coming to her defense.
