For some time, superhero fans have wondered if the Marvel Cinematic Universe would use characters from Netflix shows as Reckless Yes Jessica Jones. Well, it finally happened when Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock appeared in Spider-Man: No homecoming . Now, Cox is officially ready to return for Disney +. Daredevil: Born againwho also plays Vincent D’Onofrio (who returned as Kingpin in Hawk eye ) . They are the only two cast members on the OG show to have been confirmed for the new production. But her former co-star, Rosario Dawson, said she had “unfinished business” with her character, Claire Temple, as she considered the next show.
Rosario Dawson’s Claire Temple was a fixture in Netflix’s Marvel content catalog. The actress actually appeared as the former night nurse on all but one of the interconnected TV shows. With that, Dawson is more than eager to reprise her role for Disney +. Daredevil: Born again. His desire to return seems to be fueled in part by the nature of the character’s final appearance of him:
You don’t even see her at the last moment “tell Claire to go home” in Luke Cage. So what is it? You know it’s terrible. So yeah, I’d be really curious, but I’m so excited for everyone, though. Has been a long time. I was very excited to learn that all of our shows are now part of the MCU, with Charlie [Cox] and vincent [D’Onofrio] come to these different projects now. So yeah, 18 episodes. [of Daredevil: Born Again]? I am here! Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, they know where they are.
Fans saw Claire for the last time in the second season of Luca cage, during which she was embroiled in a romance with the titular hero before things finally got worse between the two. In the closing moments of the series finale, Luke (who had declared himself a sheriff of Harlem) demanded that Claire be dissuaded from entering Harlem’s Paradise nightclub. Honestly it was a pretty disappointing way to get close to the character, so you can see why Employees III the actress would say THR who is hungry for more.
Of course, it’s worth mentioning that Marvel Studios has yet to clarify whether Netflix shows are officially MCU canons. Sure, Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk have appeared before, but the two characters could very well be “variants” of those viewers they first met several years ago. However, I’m sure Kevin Feige and company. could find a way to include a version of Rosario Dawson’s character in the process. (Plus, Dawson already has one foot in Disney’s door, thanks to her role as Ahsoka in the film Star Wars franchising.)
Daredevil looks to have a bright future on Disney + and fans should be thrilled. born againSteam’s 18-episode order is the biggest Steamer I’ve given any MCU series so far. And before his next solo release, The Man Without Fear will be a guest star she-hulk. The show’s lead writer, Jessica Gao, confirmed that the show will feature a “light” version of Charlie Cox’s hero . However, the character’s brief appearance in a trailer for the series seems to indicate he’s still a force to be reckoned with.
Cast details on the new not a word they’re rare at the moment, but hopefully the producers will introduce Rosario Dawson (and some of her other colleagues). Her “Night Nurse” would be a fun addition to the MCU, and the writers could help her solve this “pending business” in many ways.
Daredevil: Born again will be released in early 2024 as part of phase 5 of the MCU . While you wait for further updates, you can now stream the original series using a Disney + subscription .
