A new stage was taken in the legal battle between Priscilla Presley and two of his former commercial partners, Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko. The latter filed a complaint on Monday against Elvis Presley’s widow against the Los Angeles Superior Court, Entertainment Weekly and Washington Post revealed.
The two former leaders of Priscilla Presley Partners accuse him of having “disconnected” the respiratory assistance of his own daughter, Lisa Marie, a few hours after hospitalization in January 2023. His alleged objective, according to them? Recover control of the succession of the rock icon, “control history” and disappoint its partners, says Entertainment Weekly.
“Priscilla knew that the death of Lisa Marie would neutralize the threat represented by the attempt of the latter to say goodbye (her mother) of her role as manager of her life and Graceland insurance fund (Elvis Presley’s home in Memphis),” said the complaint, transmitted by the Washington Post.
He also criticizes Priscilla Presley and one of his associates for having brought false accusations of weakness to an older person against Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko to damage his reputation. The two plaintiffs claim more than $ 50 million in damages.
“Shameful” and “unfounded” complaint
In a statement sent to Entertainment Weekly, Priscilla Presley’s lawyer, Martin D. Singer, judged this legal action as “one of the most shameful, ridiculous, salary and unfounded that I saw in my practice.”
And to specify: “It is nothing more than a sad and vicious attempt to falsely tarnish the reputation of an 80 -year -old woman, in flagrant reprisals” to a legal action previously brought by Priscilla against Brigitte Kuse and Kevin Fialko.
The lawyer also said that Lisa Marie’s eldest daughter, actress Riley Keough, argued “her 100 %grandmother” and was “disgusted” by the accusations contained in the complaint of the old partners.
Priscilla Presley also filed a complaint against his two former collaborators, saying that they wanted to “isolate her from her loved ones and make her believe that they would take care of her (personally and financially), when her true objective was to empty her of every dollar she possessed.”
Long legal battle
As a reminder, the legal battle between Priscilla Presley, Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko was not new. It began in October 2023, when the second brought a legal action for “breach of contract” against Priscilla Presley.
Brigitte Kruse and Kevin Fialko also said that their efforts, among other things, had taken the biographical film Prison From 2023, but that Sofia Coppola had not accredited this film, designated for the Golden Globes.
