The body of a man was discovered on Saturday at the site of the Burning Man in Nevada, bathed “in a pool of blood.” The body was discovered while lighting the fire with the image of a man, a symbol of this festival in the middle of the Black Rock desert, 180 kilometers north of Reno.
He was an assistant to the festival, reports Skynews, who warned the police that had seen a man “lying in a blood pond.” The body was not identified and was transported to a coroner this Monday for an autopsy.
“An isolated crime”
“Although this act seems to be an isolated crime, all participants must always remain attentive to their surroundings and knowledge,” said the Sheriff’s office.
The investigation promises to be complex, especially because the festival ends this September 1 and that all those attending the festival are preparing to leave the facilities.
Festival’s organizers said they were ready to cooperate with the authorities. “The security and well -being of our community are essential,” they said in a statement. They provided festival attendees a free Wi -Fi support team to communicate with their loved ones.
The Burning Man Festival, originally a crazy artistic event, far from material contingencies in the middle of the Black Rock desert in Nevada, has become the recreation courtyard for stars, models and millionaires of the tech.
The festival has already been the scene of several dead. In 1996, a man died in a motorcycle accident going to the festival. Another caught fire in 2017. Finally, in 2023, heavy rains transformed the festival into a giant quample, catching the festival attendees and caused the death of a person.
