It will be necessary to keep the eye open, on September 6 and 7, along Lille’s halls. For the final episodes of HPI, its heroine, Morgane, empty their cabinets: emblematic objects and costumes will be sold on Saturdays and Sundays in the sale of Lille Clearance, a city where the peak series takes place, the TF1 channel announced on Monday.
This operation coincides with the start of the transmission of the last episodes of HPI on Thursday night, after five seasons. The profits will be used for the Women’s Foundation, an association that helps women victims of violence and discrimination.
In this “giant vacuum”, there will be “hundreds of clothing, shoes and accessories exposed” and “animations and questionnaires for fans,” TF1 said in a press release. In addition to the sale, lots can be gained during a raffle.
A dozen remakes
Released in 2021, HPI broke the audience records and marked the recent history of television. His heroine is Morgane Álvaro, played by Audrey Fleurot. This cleaning lady with an outgoing personality and sighted outfits (fluorescent colors and panther prints) is recruited to help the police thanks to its high intellectual potential (HPI).
One of the episodes of the first season had exceeded 12 million spectators (repetition included), record of a series since 2005. Transmitted in 2024, the fourth season attracted an average of 8.3 million per episode (reproduction included).
The first four episodes of the last season were broadcast in May and June, and the last four will be from Thursday (9:10 pm).
The remakes were born in a dozen countries, including the United States (under the title of “high potential”).
Lille’s liquidation sale is one of the largest flea markets in Europe, which attracts almost 2.5 million visitors every year.
