If you’ve had ‘February turns into Movie Battleground Month’ for next year’s bingo card, get ready to cash in. New movie releases of 2023 are happening fast and furiously this month, mostly including the Tom Brady-themed comedy 80 for Brady.
As if having one of soccer’s biggest superstars in the spotlight wasn’t enticing enough, the core cast of Hollywood royalty such as Rita Moreno, Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Sally Field. Also, as we saw in the first trailer for the film, some pretty crazy things happen… like Miss Field entering a hot wing contest judged by Guy Fieri? The quartet of female leads are all living legends and it will surely be exciting to see their chemistry while performing 80 for Brady. In addition to Fieri, another cameo comes in the form of Emmy winner Billy Porter.
Even crazier is when Rita Moreno goes on a drug trip where everyone, including herself, looks like the mayor of Flavortown. Seriously, it’s more Fieri than you’d expect from a movie with Tom Brady in the title. Oddly, it works in conjunction with all other shows. 80 for Brady has to offer.
The trailer posted by Supreme has silly laughs in store, while capturing the true story that 80 for Brady is based on. With our four leading ladies trying to see what Tom Brady’s last Super Bowl might look like, the journey isn’t easy. It could be worse, however, as the girls also have Rob Gronkowski and Billy Porter on hand to help out.
As noted above, February 2023 is going to be quite a busy month for viewers and 80 for Brady the pitching slot looks well positioned to score an early touchdown. Just a week after the release of this film, The return of Channing Tatum in Magic Mike’s Last Dance will speak, just in time for the action scheduled for Valentine’s Day. And then a week later, Marvel fans will flock to see Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Maniawhich also promises a world of MCU madness in its trailer .
The odds are a bit against Tom Brady and his quartet of fans at the box office. Still, as loyal fans of the legendary quarterback would say, that’s probably how they like him. People have tried to push it back before, and the results have often proved the naysayers wrong.
80 for Brady it just gives Brady another shot at a stunning upset, and at a venue where victory dances aren’t sanctioned. Even Guy Fieri would be impressed, and that’s not even his specialty! Fans of football and heartwarming comedy can break it out and get this movie deal, in theaters only, on February 3, 2023.
