Prince Harry made a surprise visit to Ukraine on Friday to support Ukrainian soldiers injured during the war against Russia, British newspaper The Guardian reported.
According to this source, Kyiv arrived aboard a night train on early Friday. The photos transmitted by The Guardian show him welcome in the descent of his car.
His visit to Ukraine coincides with that of the new head of British diplomacy, Yvette Cooper, his first trip abroad since his appointment last week.
Prince Harry is in Ukraine with a team from its foundation, the Invictus Games Foundation, which he created to support the injured soldiers in combat.
Meeting with Ukrainian Prime Minister
“We cannot stop the war (in Ukraine), but what we can do is do everything possible to help the recovery” of wounded soldiers, he told The Guardian.
According to this source, he must meet with the Ukrainian Prime Minister Iulia Svydenko and about 200 veterans.
Very inverted with wounded veterans, Prince Harry, who served in the army for ten years from 2005 to 2015, remains very attached to the body of the body. The first edition of The Invictus Games was held in 2014 in London. After Vancouver this year, the next Invictus games will take place in Bormingham in 2027.
Harry, who will celebrate his 41 years on Monday, met his father, King Carlos III, for the first time in almost two years, during a visit to the United Kingdom at the beginning of the week. They have been cold for years, for a series of complaints, fed by the prince’s public criticism against his family.
