Three days before its launch, Apple TV+ announced on Tuesday, September 23 that postponed the series The wiseThriller of Research transported by Jessica Chastain. A decision that takes place in the tense context that follows the murder, on September 10, 2025, by Charlie Kirk, American conservative political activist near Trump.
“After careful thought, we made the decision to report ‘The Savant’,” said Apple TV+ in a press release. “We thank you for your understanding and we cannot wait to launch the series at a later date.”
Integrated by Donald Trump’s camp, the death of Charlie Kirk immersed the United States in a climate of political violence. And the theme covered by the series seems particularly sensitive. The wise It follows the clandestina researcher Jodi Goodwin, a veteran military embodied by Jessica Chastain, who works for the Anti-hete alliance (the alliance against hatred).
